Strategy4 was initially engaged to assist the civil engineers in performing the landscape architecture work associated with reorganizing the properties on this expansive site. Strategy4 has now become a trusted consultant to this pharmaceutical client for over twenty years and has been instrumental in transforming their site into a well-organized, vehicle-free campus environment. A unique challenge of this project was using various landscaping to unify and complement the nearly thirty existing buildings. Some of these buildings were restored historical buildings for which the previous landscaping also had to be recreated. An additional element was relocating the main entrance to the site from a quiet residential street to the main arterial road, Steeles Avenue, and handling all related municipal approvals.
